Week 1 of fantasy football is over and we are all preparing for week 2. Here is a quick recap of Week 1 games for the Arabian Monkey Fantasy Football IDP League.

Reggie “I Let Players Like Kevin Curtis Take My Touches” Brown and Jerious Nor”wegian”wood both underperformed for their respective teams. Tom Brady and Laveranues Coles kicked ass for The Gerk while Andre Johnson and Antonio Gates were right up there for The Douginator. The Douginator edged this one out by about 12 points with some help from London Fletcher and Kirk Morrison.

This match up wasn’t even close! my momma ended up with 230.99 points while Drokk had just 143.37. Even if Drokk’s players performed at the level they were supposed to, he would still be down over 50 points. LT, Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, and Plaxico Burress were some of the top point getters of the week and Jesus Shuttlesworth had them all. It looks like he is going to roll through the league.

 

Oh Bob Saget!

Bob Saget vs. Dozer51

Another big point difference here. Bob Saget ran away with this one. Pat Mac had Eli and a host of defenders who were top point getters in their respective positions. Ed Reed and Steve Smith were the big point getters for Ian. Bob Saget appears to be another team poised for success with a total of 211.30 points.

Cougars vs. Autodraft Sucksters

The closest match of the week ended up going to Roy the Boy Toy. His Cougars were lead by Peyton Manning and Ellis Hobbs. Max Power's team was lead by T.J. Housh and Mike Vrabel and lost by a mere 10 points.

 

Week 2 should be exciting. There are some players that all our Fantasy Sports readers should be aware of that are more than likely on waivers right this moment!

Chris Brown (RB) Tenessee Titans

Went nuts in week 1…don’t expect this every week and certainly don’t expect this next week when he plays the Colts D. Worth a pickup if you lack depth in the RB position- he might have to share some carries but if he plays even half that good you will be happy you did.

Ronald Curry (WR) Oakland Raiders

Another performance that probably won’t happen every week, but this guy broke out in week 1. He is worth a pickup just for the fact that he will be the number 1 receiver in Oakland.

David Garrard (QB) Jacksonville Jaguars

With Byron Leftwich gone their offense should pick up. Garrard can move a lot better and week 1 showed us a glimpse of what he can bring to the table.

 

Oh, by the way, our prayers go out to Kevin Everett and his family and let's not forget about Danny. May Kevin Everett see a full recovery and Danny say "shit" and "oh piss!" up in heaven. Until next week, Seacrest Out!
